I'M (not) A MERMAID

Chapter 5::::::

As the car drove us along the streets of Texas , I was deeply hoping for the city to disappear faster. I was damn excited.

Finally my eagerness came to a halt. The Lalaland was such a beautiful place. And the rain added to its beauty. Michelle and Linda pulled me out of the car. Though Michelle visited this place many times before, she was much more excited as this time I accompanied her.

Linda's ancestral home was a kinda old and a bit frightening. As it was raining heavily , I along with Linda and Michelle had to run into the house. Mud water
got into my shoes. But I was least bothered about that. Michelle's mom followed us with all the stuff she got with her.

Linda's granny is a kind and loving person I have ever seen. She served us with good food(sea food). She asked us not to go to the beach until the rain stops. But we wanted to go out in the rain. To while away our time she started telling us the stories of Lalaland And Its Beauty. The stories were so interesting. And that is when I started feeling a strange itching in my feet. My feet was turning red. When I told this to Michelle she advised me not to worry as it is the first time my feet got wet with the mud water. She said "Your feet will be ok soon. Just listen to the stories dear".

Even after half-an-hour my feet didn't show any improvement.I still had the itching sensation. The rain was no more. All three of us ran to the beach. But this itching in my feet was getting worse......
